KOREAN BUDDY REVIEW!!!!!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE! I just wanted to start off by apologizing for disappearing for literally a year. During my year long hiatus I graduated high school and started my first year of college. I also got a rabbit back in December and she's been a huge handful. I also moved out of my mom's house so it's been a stressful year. But now I'm back with another review and I promise I will be posting a lot more.
Today's review will be on a website called Korean Buddy. Korean Buddy is a shipping service where you can order from companies that only ship within Korea. It's basically a Korean version of taobao in a way.
I'm just gonna start off by saying....... I LOVE THIS SERVICE. I've used other services to order from Korea and I've had terrible experiences with each of them, which led me to be a bit hesitant with this service. However, this service is nothing like any of the services I've used in the past. They kept in touch with me the whole time, letting me know every detail about my purchase. Their service fee was very reasonable, along with their shipping prices.
Now back to the communication/customer service, which is very important: they get a 12 out of 10.
One of the shirts I ordered turned out to be sold out. Unlike the last service who never even told me one of the things I ordered was sold out, Korean Buddy immediately let me know about the sold out item and used the money of the shirt towards fees and shipping. Also, there was a glitch in their card company partner which ended up making me put in my card information 3 times, charging me 3 times. Again, Korean Buddy immediately let me know, also using that money for shipping and fees. So at the end,I only had to pay $4 for shipping.
Overall Korean Buddy is by far the best shipping service I've used. I will definitely be using them to purchase Korean clothing and make up again!
I will be doing a haul soon once I get a camera to take pictures

The Face Shop: Clean Face Oil-Free BB Cream

HELLOOO!! Its been a while since I last posted and I'm very sorry about that. However, to make up for that I am here to bring you a... *drumrolls*... REVIEW!
So today's review will be on something that I was very excited to try. No, I am not a makeup guru or anything but I have met a lot of people who have asked me so many questions about Korean makeup, BB cream in particular. I have just recently gotten into Korean makeup, and by recently I mean like around June of last year. Here in New York, we have many Korean beauty/skin care stores {The Face Shop, Nature Republic, Skin Food, Tony Moly} So I have been able to pick up a lot of these korean makeup products throughout the months. So I decided to make this review for you guys.

The Face Shop: Clean Face Oil-Free BB Cream
The Face Shop Oil Free BB cream is a bb cream that claims improve complexion and create a nice smooth surfface
What is written on the bottle:
~Chamomile Extract
~Quick' Clear Complexion
~New and improved Quick' Clear Complex treats
oily or problem skin more quickly
and effectively.
So according to this bb cream, it can help keep oiliness in check. Which is solely the reason why I picked it up in the first place. I have pretty oily skin and most bb creams tend to keep my oily skin under control.
So now for the review~
I picked up this BB cream from the Face Shop store here in Flushing, New York {but if you want to purchase this product but don't have a Face Shop near you I will leave a few links down below for you ^.^}It comes in a 35mL {I think....} and it was $17.00!!! A bit much but I think it was worth it~

Packaging of BB Cream
☆ミPackaging: I absolutely love the packaging for this BB cream. It's sweet and simple, very professional, like every The Face Shop product. The packaging is very sleek in my opinion. The tube itself is actually very smooth and soft. For some reason, I really enjoy the packaging.

Color and texture of BB Cream
☆ミTexture: The texture of this BB cream is pretty creamy and thick. It's very soft. It doesn't contain oil however it's very creamy. I expected it to not be this creamy. The color of it is a very nice beige-ish color, so it can be either a hit or miss for you since this line only comes in ONE shade T^T. But overall, it is a nice beige and does not leave a gray cast.

BB cream semi blended
Color: The color of this, like I said is more of a light beige. Yes I know it looks a bit light for my skin, but believe it or not, I am pretty pale, and as you blend it in, it matches my skin very well. Very VERY easy to blend. I love it.
Fully blended and oxidized

Coverage: This bb cream has light to medium coverage. I have to use my concealer with this, but it is buildable, so if you don't want to use concealer than you just add a bit of extra bb cream over your problem areas. Even though it's oil free, setting with powder is very recommended. And by the way this product smells AMAZING!!!!!!

This product actually lasts a pretty long time. My skin tends to get pretty oily throughout the day, however, with this bb cream, I found myself using less oil sheets. So that's a huge plus for me.
After application and setting with powder around 7:40 am

BB Cream after school, around 4:30 pm
Overall, I give this bb cream a 4.5 out of 5. The reason I don;t give it a full 5 is because the the bottle is a bit small, and this has become my go to bb cream so it will run out fast. Other than that it is a great product and I will definitely repurchase.

I hope you guys enjoyed this review. There should be more reviews to come~ Love you all!!
                                                                     ~xoxo, Genny =^.^=

KPop Audition Tips~ ^o^ (Tips for YG, SM, JYP, Cube, etc.)

       Auditioning for a Korean company is very tough, but hey, its hard to audition anywhere else too though. I always look back and wish I was smart enough to maybe go through other blogs or experience videos and see what people had to say. I hope you guys find these tips helpful *^-^* {<-- yes I really love that face}
SO LET'S GET STARTED!!!!!!
Okay, so last year, in my visit to Korea, I decided to be a bit adventurous and auditioned for a very little company by the name of YG Entertainment {okay so we all know that is NOT a "very little" company}. For those of you who don't know what YG is, it is one of the BIGGEST entertainment companies in Korea, home of the very so HOT AND FREAKING SEXY G.Dragon and T.O.P and Taeyang and Daesung and SeungRi...And my imaginary husband, Danny Im of 1TYM. #fangirlmoment.... Anyways, during  my audition, I noticed and picked up a lot of things that I have brought with me to other auditions. Things that i have worked on perfecting. So here they are~

  1. PRONUNCIATION PRONUNCIATION PRONUNCIATION!!!!!!
~This applies to mostly non Korean speakers. Pronunciation is the most important thing if you are going to sing in Korean. At my YG audition, I saw a couple of people who had terrible pronunciation, not that i have good pronunciation myself... I suck at Korean, and it was sad to see them struggling, especially since I was one of those struggling souls. Please keep in mind that you are auditioning for a KOREAN company, so if you don't speak fluent Korean, practice your pronunciation as much as you can. It can help impress the judges since most of the time they are not used to seeing foreigners speaking and singing in perfect Korean, especially if you are auditioning in Seoul.

             2. CLOTHES!!!
~Although this may sound weird, but what you wear to your audition can affect the way the judges look at you. When I was at YG, I saw a lot of people with their "I Love 2NE1" shirts  or their "One of a Kind" sweaters. I even saw a girl who wrote "I <3 T.O.P" on her arm. I'm sure these people didn't have the wrong intentions, but the judges will most likely get the wrong impression. They might think that you're there just because you want to meet your favorite idol or your ultimate bias, which im sure is not the case for 99% of the people auditioning. Before putting on your Wolf 88 t-shirt, remember this: the judges want to see how professional you are, so stick with something comfy and casual, especially if you are dancing. Don't stress about what you wear too much. I believe Krystal of f(x) wore jeans and a tshirt and many idols auditioned in their school uniforms.
~Makeup is another big issue I have noticed. DO NOT cake your face. DO NOT wear a lot of makeup. Many companies, like SM, are 70% looks, so they want to see your natural beauty. I recommend BB Cream, a bit of concealer, nude eyeshadow, mascara, NO FALSIES, and that's it. NO MORE! They want to see you look natural, they don't want to see a cake on your face.

             3. RANDOM TIPS!!!
~When waiting to be called, stay calm and don't fool around. Use this time wisely and practice your singing, dancing, acting or modeling. Some staff member will be walking around the waiting areas, so who knows, maybe they can give a good word to the judges.
~Your audition begins as soon as you walk in through that door, so be on your best behavior throughout the whole audition. I know they say "Don't look at the judges", but that doesn't mean that you can't give them a warm smile as soon as you walk into the audition room. Show them that you're a kind person by keeping a smile on your face. The judges will take note of that.
~Be respectful towards your fellow audition-ers. Not everyone can sing like Yang YoSeob, so be respectful towards everyone. I'm pretty sure you would not like it if someone laughed while you were performing, and also this goes back to professionalism. The judges will be impressed by your amount of respect.
~If you get caught in a situation where you forget the lyrics to the song, or the lines in your monologue, don't start apologizing and bowing and asking for another chance. Just smile and keep your head held high. If the judges are nice, they will  let you start over. I remember watching an audition video, and I believe it was SNSD's Taeyeon, where she messed up on the lyrics and she just smiled afterwards like as if nothing had happened. She showed her confidence and now shes the leader of one of the most famous Korean girl groups in the world.
~LOOK AT THE CAMERA!!!!!! KEEP YOUR EYES ON THE CAMERA WHEN SINGING/DANCING/ACTING/MODELING..... I don't think I need to explain this anymore.......
~Always have more than one song prepared. I found myself in a situation where the judges at YG asked me to sing another song. Luckily I had a backup song. But always prepare more than one song because you never know what might happen.
~Be confident and focus on what you came for. Show them how determined you are and how much you want to be an idol.

So these are all the tips I have for today. I hope you guys find them useful. I will be auditioning for SM Entertainment next month so I'll post about my experience soon ^^
